LANCASTER, PA – The box truck driver involved in the seven-vehicle collision on Route 30 on Tuesday has been cited for driving vehicle at safe speed and careless driving, FOX 43 reports.

The collision occurred near Oregon Pike around 1:37 pm. It involved the box truck, a Cocalico School District bus full of children, and five other vehicles. Six injuries were reported.

An investigation revealed that the 64-year-old box truck driver failed to brake as traffic ahead came to a stop and rear-ended a vehicle, causing a chain-reaction crash.
