Man Crashes Vehicle on US Route 15 in Upper Allen Township After Police Chase

MECHANICSBURG, PA – A police chase ended with the suspect crashing their vehicle on US Route 15 early Friday morning, Penn Live reports.

According to authorities, the collision occurred in the southbound lanes around 12:55 am. Police noticed the vehicle speeding and attempted to initiate a traffic stop when the vehicle fled.

The driver, identified as Alexander Gish, eventually attempted to exit onto Cumberland Parkway, but lost control and flipped the car over. Gish then tried to flee on foot, but was apprehended and transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Gish faces several charges, including accident involving death or personal injury and evading arrest on foot.
