CAHMBERSBURG BOR, PA – A man was airlifted to an area hospital Monday after he darted in front of a turning truck and was hit by it.
WGAL reports that the accident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. on April 20 in the 1000 block of Stouffer Avenue in Chambersburg Borough. The truck was attempting to enter a parking lot when the man got in its way.
Authorities say the 54-year-old man was transported with a possible head injury. We do not know his present condition.
The truck driver remained on the scene and cooperated with police. They will not charge that individual.
