JACKSON TOWNSHIP, PA – A vehicle crashed into a Met-Ed truck in a work zone on Monday night, injuring two, WGAL reports.
According to authorities, the collision occurred in the 200 block of Big Mount Road around 9:44 pm. A 22-year-old man driving a Lexus failed to stop for a Met-Ed flagger directing traffic in a work zone The Lexus crashed head-on into a work vehicle.
A lineman was reportedly suspended in the Met-Ed truck’s bucket at the time of the crash. He was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The Lexus driver was transported to York Hospital with serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
