LNR General Accident 1

HARRISBURG, PA – A 14-year-old was struck and killed by a motor vehicle on Derry Street early Thursday evening, CBS 21 reports.

Police responded to reports of a pedestrian accident in 2000 block of Derry Street around 6:30 p.m. on May 28. They provided emergency treatment to the victim who was subsequently transported to an area hospital, where he died.

Police have ruled the incident an accident. It is unclear if the driver will face charges.

While the Dauphin County Coroner has released the child’s name, we are withholding it out of respect for the family.
